Next Generation

Painted this in honor of Holocaust memorial & remembrance day. I decided to use a brush for a softer vibe, instead of my usual pallette knife. I know I am lucky to be here today, my grandparents met after the Holocaust both around 40 and had my mother, an only child. Being one of 14, I know the best payback for the loss, is that my mother built an empire of her own for the family she was never able to meet.
